BOURGEOIS HONEY - Goat Milk Honey Turmeric Soap

Bourgeois Honey is named for the two people who make its magic possible — my Aunt and Uncle, keepers of the sweetest bees in St. James Parish. This bar is a Louisiana hug wrapped in gold, made with honey gathered by bees who spend their days drifting through Nanny’s expansive garden, sipping from every bloom she nurtures — citrus blossoms glowing in the heat, clover tucked low in the grass, jasmine opening at dusk, zinnias shouting in color, wildflowers showing off just because they can.

Every flower they visit becomes part of the honey. Every drop of that honey becomes part of this soap. It’s literally a piece of home.

The goat milk — fresh from Franklinton — folds in like cream, giving the bar its silky, bougie lather. The turmeric brings a warm, sunlit glow, a golden whisper behind the honey’s song. And the soft blend of lavender, eucalyptus, and clary sage drifts through the bar like a breeze across a Louisiana morning.

This soap is sweetness gathered by happy bees, richness poured from local hands, and sunshine stirred into every batch. A little bougie. A little country. A lot of home.
