Long before this bar ever touched your hands, indigo touched Louisiana.
It was grown in the heat, stirred in deep clay pots, and transformed into a blue so beloved it found its way into stories, traditions, and front‑porch folklore. People trusted the color — not just because of its beauty , but because it symbolized protection, calm, and a little good luck.
Indigo Gris‑Gris carries that old magic forward. Rosemary brings its sharp, ancestral strength. Mint brings clarity, cool as river water. And the soft indigo hue honors the hands that once worked the dye vats, believing that a touch of blue could keep the world gentle.
Lather it up and it feels like washing in a blessing: bright, herbal, refreshing, and quietly protective.

Ingredients: saponified (olive oil, lard, coconut oil, castor oil), water, rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, indigo, CO2 rosemary extract.
Every bar is poured, cut, and cured by hand, so appearance and weight may vary. Most bars land around 3–3.3 oz.
I haven't used it yet, but my next one. I love all the lavender notes. This soap smells so good, I know I will love using this. I already know from using many of her other soaps that this will work as great on my sensitive skin & will last as long. I totally recommend.

Parents, want to know a trick to getting your child to wash? WITH SOAP? Let them pick out their favorite Blind River soap. For me, it's the lovely aroma of Rosemary Mint that drifts from the bathroom into the hallway every morning. I know my daughter has washed well, and often catch a whiff of her lightly scented skin after.

Came to correct, sorry, I bought a bunch before that was the same color in lavender. The gris gris doesnt contain any lavender, but still smells really great & I truly look forward to using it.
